just make sure you have plugged webcam, mic, speakers and click "Allow" button in your "guest" box. My office cam will be disconnected for next 2 hours because there is some stuff I have to do but will return then.

..ok, since I've been getting questions and mails about "private" channels, so to end confusion - currently text comments in "private" channels are visible to everyone and anyone can leave text comment but the video and voice interaction between the two IS VISIBLE ONLY TO THEM.

..anyway, if there will be demand, we will completely lock to private text comments in "private" channels too.

strange. For some reason I did not recieve signal from you but you could hear and see me. If you say that you did not see anything in your own box there than there is something preventing your cam access already at your computer. It would be different if you could see your own box but I could not, then there would be something at my end or in between

Hello to everyone new in..
..omg, this seems to be growing fast. I spoke to two random guests this morning within 10 min time, but I was gone for most of the day. Working 'round the clock on some other projects - no vacation for me this summer :( Anyway, in brief - I know, I know, ..the problem is that there is no notification system where you could "call" someone or someone could "call" you back to channel yet.. -BUT- ..I'm working on that and it will be integrated soon through various online text notification systems and RSS. Until then there is option in each channel to notify someone by e-mail, maby more useful if he has SMS for new e-mails notification on mobile phone or PC.
..and for guest from some polar research station I spoke yesterday -> ..good luck! I wish I was at your place now - the heat here is undurable :)

Hello and welcome to all guests and new users of this newly launched interaction video-phone portal - thw416, sphinz91, yasmig and others from around the world. Unfortunately I'm so buisy here in the office that I can't talk to everyone, but I did manage to talk to many of you who randomly came in. The system is easy to use - just read in "How to use" section below. You can also set channels to "private" and then when the user on the other side begins conversation with you the video/audio stream is visible only to two of you.

There are several unique features added now, like the ability to upload and present your 3D works in X3D or WRL format, so if you're 3D artist, engineer, scientist, have a biotech lab and want to present 3D structures and so on, ..YouLiveSee is the place where you can upload it. Here up on this page next to username you can try how it looks like - I've uploaded some simple 3D shapes. Of course, you must have X3D or WRL plugin to see it.

Hi, if you click the above link "Get X3D/VRML plugin" there will be a small table on the right that shows all current X3D and WRL plugins for various browsers and operating systems. For Firefox and Windows there are many options like - Octaga player, Flux player, BS Contact and SwirlX3D. When you install the plugin, just click on X3D presentation link above where I have uploaded a file with some simple geometrical shapes. You can upload both X3D and WRL files. The code is very simple, just like HTML, you can open it in yor text editor and see it by clicking right mouse button on "X3D/VRML presentation" link. If you work with various CAD or 3D modelling software, many have options to convert or export files to X3D or WRL.

Java must be enabled in browser also. So.. cookies, Java and Flash player. In most browsers it's in menu Tools-> Options.

my pc probably disconected over night. Cam is online now again. You just click "allow" button. You must have Flash player installed, cookies enabled and installed webcam. I'm not at the office all the time - if you want to try conversation just tell me what time GMT you're online (or what time in your timezone). I'll be in this topic.
